Running Back Preparation
Running Back Preparation is a complete manual that covers the WHAT, HOW and WHY of RB's. I reverse engineer Split Zone and explain which indy drills, curved sprints and change of direction drills align with the run concept.
The manual discusses: conditioning, science of football, linear sprinting, curved sprinting, change of direction and agility, as well as contact prep. The manual has cut-ups from actual football plays and aligns them to the drill work in the off-season.
I have coached American Football for almost 20 years at the high school level while serving as a strength and conditioning coach in some capacity for the majority of the past 20 years. I'm a certified S&C coach (USAW and Exos PS) and USA Football certified in contact preparation, blocking and tackling.
