If you're the head coach of a sport, the head strength coach, or a coach looking for a new position it's officially silly season around football. The high school regular seasons are wrapping up and programs are looking for a new spark, and a possible coordinator if you're the right candidate!!

College programs have already started firing head coaches, internship positions are being posted for January and the overseas contingent is offering round trip tickets to sunny Kazakhstan.

That's why I've created this Silly Season Job Posting Bingo Card for you. Whether you're at the pro, semi-pro, college, or high school levels there's a 'space' on the card for everyone- even us strength coaches!

My favorite space on the card is "possible coordinator duty" for the right candidate. We all know the person writing that is more likely to give you a shot at their wife than a shot calling plays, but they post it and we apply anyway.

Enjoy the bingo card this off-season as you navigate the coaching job market. Just make sure you share it around social media. Also- hang in there if you were recently let go from a coaching position. There's always another one out there for you, especially if you're willing to get a CDL and coach three sports.
